Linux Check CPU temperature on Fedora

Basic Linux Command Example: 

The example below show how to check CPU teperature on Fedora system. The step by step below start from the installation of gnome-shell-extension-cpu-temperature, this xample done on Linux Fedora 15.

To install the package that can use to monitor CPU temperature you may need root access, so this example start with the su - command.

1. Open Linux x terminal... Application >> system tools >> terminal

2. Execute su - command, then supply the root password when ask.

3. Execute yum install gnome-shell-extension-cpu-temperature to start the package installation.

[root@serverc ~]# yum install gnome-shell-extension-cpu-temperature

4. After sucessfully install the package you may need to log off and then log in again to see the changes.
